A 3-day Maasai Mara safari takes you to the heart of Maasai Mara National Reserve. Here, you will explore the reserve for 2 nights. Day 1: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA.

Pick up from your hotel, residence, or airport in Nairobi by 7:00 am. Your safari takes you to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and into the domain of the Maasai, Kenya’s cattle-herding nomads determined to preserve their traditions. The Mara is magnificent, home to Kenya’s richest concentration of wildlife. It is regarded by many travellers as an essential stop on any tour of Africa. When Westerners think of Africa and safari, this is the place they imagine – golden grassland plains pocked with acacia, wildebeests, zebras, lions, and jackals bound together by the cycle of life and death.
Arrive in Maasai Mara just in time for a hot lunch. Relax as the heat of the day subsides before embarking on an evening game drive. This will extend until late evening when you settle for dinner and stay overnight. Accommodation overnight in a camp or lodge.

Day 2: MAASAI MARA.

Spend the day in the expansive dotted plains, Kenya’s most popular game reserve, where you will have the best opportunity to spot the Big Five: lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino, and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend the entire day in the park. You can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Maasai village (at US$20 per person).
Full board accommodation in a camp or lodge.

DAY 3- MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Nairobi, arriving for late lunch. This marks the end of a memorable 3-day Maasai Mara Safari.
