3 days Amboseli national park is a short safari. Welcome to African wildlife theatre capitalising on the diversity of wildlife in their natural habitat, in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Get close to free-ranging elephant herds.

Overview
 Amboseli National Park is situated in southern Kenya. It is a premier park known for its large elephant herds and views of immense Mount Kilimanjaro at the backdrop bordering Tanzania. Observation Hill offers panoramas of the peak and the park’s plains and swamps. Lake Amboseli dominates the western section of the park, which is dry outside the rainy season.

The park offers excellent viewing of large concentrations of African animals living in this natural habitat. Varied wildlife includes giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. The proud Masai people continue to live outside the park borders, following their ancient traditions and tending to their much-treasured cattle. A visit to their homestead gives one insight into this lovely community. A 2-night 3-day Safari takes you to Amboseli National park, where you will explore the park. 

Day 1 – Nairobi to Amboseli

Pick up in Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Have a short rest as the heat of the day subsides before your afternoon game drive starts. Explore the park and see large herds of elephants – the signature of Amboseli, as well as other game animals like zebras, giraffes and many more with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a beautiful background (coming out of the clouds during sunset and sunrise). Dinner and overnight in lodge/ Camp.

Day 2 – Full day in Amboseli

Our early morning game drive is most rewarding – it offers the opportunity to find predators either hunting or feeding on their prey. Picnic breakfast at the observation hill offers spectacular 360 degrees views throughout the park with its arid areas, marshes and lakes, and on a clear day Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch and time for relaxation or a swim in the pool. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in lodge/ Camp.

Day 3 – Return to Nairobi

Early morning game drive with the last chance to get a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the camp for late breakfast at the lodge and drive back to Nairobi.
