5 Days River Nile Adventure, visit Murchison Falls National Park and connect to Jinja for the Nile River adventure activities like white water rafting / river surfing
Day 1: Depart for Murchison Falls National Park (4-5 hours)
Pick up from your hotel in Kampala after breakfast and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. This is Uganda’s largest park. The park is home to elephants, buffaloes, giraffe and a variety of antelopes. Visit the famous Luweero triangle – The theatre of Uganda Bush wars. Lunch is served en-route in Masindi Town. Visit magnificent Murchison falls – where water thunders through different rapids ranging from 7m-40m to the gorge below. Dine and overnight.
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise along the Albert Nile
After breakfast, we start off for a morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile river. The game viewing will be graced by elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, hartebeest, Uganda kobs, Oribis and waterbucks among many more. Hot lunch will be served at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, embark on a cruise into the Albert Nile. An exciting panoramic view from the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls is something to do for. Crocodiles, hippos, kingfisher, cormorants, bee-eater and the rare shoebill stork will entertain you. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Source of River Nile – Jinja
Breakfast will pave way for our road trip to Jinja- the source of the river Nile. Witness volumes of the longest river in Africa – mighty river Nile as it starts its journey all the way to the Mediterranean sea. Get a hot lunch in Jinja town. Drive to Bujagali falls viewpoint. Dine and overnight.
Day 4: Rafting – Thrilling adventure
After breakfast, drive to Bujagali falls, the starting point for White water rafting for a full day. A thrilling white-water rafting adventure on the massive river Nile. While the heat of the day subsides, we do a city tour, in Jinja town. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Back to Kampala.
Transfer back to Kampala after breakfast. Visit Mabira forest and Sezibwa falls en route. Dine and overnight.
